Hat Stuff

The Grevi hats are finally here! The Grevi family has been producing hats since 1875 from their headquarters in Signa, near Florence. Everything is still handmade and done in the traditional way, like taking one single piece of ribbon and literally winding it to make a hat. We love it!

Spring at last!

Sprrrrrring is here! I'm so afraid to shout out loud for fear of some retribution of snow in April. So maybe I'll just quietly say that we've put up (at last) the spring/summer goodies from Engineered Garments & Baracuta, and some new additions from Folk and YMC. Drop by and touch/feel/try on/wear/enjoy the spring madness!

Spring Preview

To say that spring has sprung is probably premature and courting the wrath of the weather god but its never stopped us from reveling in the sheer joy of trying on something new, something fresh, and something that gently reminds of sunnier and warmer days to come. Whew, glad the intro's over. Writing this entry on a gloomy February day was like pulling teeth, if I may be brutally honest. The real good news is that the spring deliveries of Folk, Paul & Joe and YMC have just arrived. And guess what? They're fantastic. And that just about resurrects this pitiful shroud of grey! 

Sunday Shopping in the Rosa-Luxemburgstrasse!

We are pleased to announce that we will be open on the four Sundays of Advent until Christmas, from 13:00 - 17:00. There will be mulled wine for some warmth and comfort and reductions on selected items starting at 30% to make christmas shopping just a little easier on the pocket. Our neighbors and colleagues from Blush, Belleville, Lulu, Redspective, and Susuru will also be open on all four Sundays. We're looking forward to seeing you all!

This just in from Bill Amberg: "Bill's signature grip bag made in beautiful soft or tumbled leather. The handles are long enough for the bag to be worn over the shoulder, and the bag unbuckles to become roomier and taller. Perfect as an overnight bag for both men and women, or as an oversized casual day bag." Word. We have them in cognac and black, in big and bigger. Time to tote.

Have no fear

This season's knitwear is about the brave and the beautiful. YMC gives the Fair Isle new flair and Paul & Joe offers pieces reminiscent of native south american patterns. Its really a joy to see this burst of

colours after last winter's rather somber palette of greys and blues. We know everyone's saying violet is the new black. We say RED is the new violet. Have it with deliciously dark chocolate and pick that cherry on top. Yum.
